Look and voices
Names from Urdu, Hindi or Arabic (Ali, Faisal, Zainab) often come out the English way on US and UK voices; the Indian English voices (Prabhat, Neerja) usually say them closer. Write how a name sounds in brackets, like Zainab(zay-nab), and press ▶ beside a line to check.
Script
Special words: write how they sound
A voice can say a name, a brand or a dish the wrong way. Put how it sounds in brackets right after the word, with no space: Siobhan(shi-vawn), gnocchi(nyoh-kee). The voice says what is in the brackets, the screen and the captions show the word, and every other Siobhan in the video is said the same way.
